Julia Berger is currently a student at the Parsons School of Design in New York City, majoring in Photography. Her work addresses the interactions between the public and the environment of the city: highlighting relationships, landmarks, and what it means to be a “New Yorker.” Born and raised in Florida, her family's roots stem from Manhattan, and her photographs represent the freedom she has always known was coming. The main mediums used are medium format and 35 mm analog film, shot in both color and black and white. Berger also specializes in digital photography, with a focus in commercial and studio work.
