Julia Berger is a recent BFA graduate from the Parsons School of Design in New York City, focusing on photography. Utilizing both analog and digital mediums, Berger strives to capture the relationship between her lens and the subject matter. Encapsulated with popular culture and its ties to nostalgia, Berger memorializes interactions between society, space, and time. Being born and raised in Florida, her photographs of Manhattan represent the freedom she always craved in her childhood. As well, Berger is a lighting assistant and gaffer. She is available for commission in both photography and assisting.
